120 families were helped at the Food Bank distribution last Friday. Thanks to those who helped with the distribution: Dale Henke, Galen Crawford, Craig Kimbell, Steve Kroese, Margaret Wertman, Julie Whitmore, and Bob Wilhelm.

Celebrating 70 years on 6-10-2026! John & Gera Stilwell were married June 10, 1956, at the Palmyra Methodist Church. They will be celebrating with an Open House on Sunday, July 26, at the Duncan Building from 2 - 5 p.m. CONGRATULATIONS!

Friday, 6-11-1926, The Otoe Union:

Alta Lucas and Lizzie Doyle left to attend summer school at Peru. Dan McSwan of Long Beach, CA, was visiting friends. This issue contained news from the Golden Rod Community (anyone know where this was?), as well as Burr, Hopewell, and Syracuse. Strong Bros. were selling Hudson and Essex automobiles.
