REGULAR MEETING
UNADILLA VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Unadilla, Nebraska, will meet in a publicly convened session on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. at the Village Library,
1. Pass Ordinance 258-16 Water & Sewer Rates
2. Repair Holes in Streets
Except for items of an emergency nature, the agenda shall not be enlarged later than twenty-four hours before the scheduled commencement of the meeting. Any persons needing special accommodations should contact the Village Office at least five days prior to the meeting date.

Friday, 10-6-1916, The Otoe Union:
"September 29th (1916) was a record breaker...the
thermometer dropping to 22 degrees, and all tender
vegetation killed." H.A. Butt went to Hoyt, Kansas, to check
on his farm there. John Nash, sons Joe and Harvey, and
Sam Lairmore and son Harry also went to the same locale
looking for farm ground.

Greenblatt & Seay proudly announce the 20th ANNUAL SCHOOLHOUSE FIDDLING BEE. This historical, hysterical event will take place on Sunday, October 9, at 2:30 PM, downstairs in the Old Avoca, Nebraska Schoolhouse. In the Open Division, fiddlers will play a hoedown, a waltz, and a tune of choice. There will also be other divisions of competition available for the adventurous fiddlers, including a Singing Fiddler's Contest, a Twin Fiddler's Contest, a Fee-Fi-Faux Fiddler's Contest (fiddle tunes played on any instrument other than a fiddle), and a Hocus-Pocus Contest (cross-tuning, sound effects, dancing, etc.), which will give fiddlers an opportunity to play tunes that are usually not allowed in any other contest.
