Where are you going to view the Eclipse? Main Street in
Unadilla is one possibility! Sorry, the
Library's supply of glasses has been
sold out! (The National NBC News
declared the entire state of Nebraska a great place to visit
and view the eclipse.)
Are anyone else's apples ready to pick? Ours look to be
ready even though it's a couple weeks early.
Are you a Veteran?
Here is a summary of benefits if you belong to
the American Legion:
Here are 7 interesting facts from 1917: The average life
expectancy for men was 47 years. Two out of every 10
adults couldn't read or write. More than 95% of all births
took place at home. The maximum speed limit in most
cities was 10 mph. Marijuana, heroin, and morphine were
all available over the counter at local drug stores. Only
14% of homes had a bathtub. The average US wage was
22 cents per hour. These were the Good Old Days?

had fun creating a Barn Quilt, some choosing 1 ft. X 1 ft,
