Barn Quilt_Block

Barn Quilt Classes scheduled in the Resource Room of the

Community Center: Saturday morning, 9-23, at 9:00 a.m. and

Wednesday evening, 10-4, at 7:00 p.m. Cost: $25 to complete

a 1' X 1', for $40 for a 2' X 2'. Instructor: Sharon Demaree.

828-5725 for more details or to register. Proceeds benefit

the Unadilla Community Library.

Cornucopia Festival

 

Sunday, September 24th

Join us for a picnic style lunch at the Park

Bring your dish of choice & lawnchairs,

and your own tableservice.

Depending on the pumpkin harvest, all children will

receive pumpkins to decorate that day

& there will be some large pumpkins that will be raffled

Entry fee: $1.00

Fall Soup Contest

Fall Pie Contest

Larges Ear of Corn contest

The crowd will judge the soup & pie contests

All proceeds will go towards a scholarship fund based

on the applicant's community service.

Unadilla Open_Winners_2017_500

First place winners: Travis Johnson, Bob Wilhelm,

Teresa Snider, and Bob Brandt


The Unadilla Open Golf Tournament was held at the

Wildwood Golf Course in Nebr. City on Sunday,

September 17th.  Afterwards they returned

 to The Bar for a light meal and the awarding

of prizes. A good time was had by all!




Honoring all_who_served

We will have another Veterans Coffee on Saturday,

November 11 from 9 - 11 a.m. in the Veterans Room at

the Community Center. If you live in the Unadilla area and

want to share some of your mementos, please contact me.

If you would like to write a short story of your time in service,

we are collecting those also.

The displays in the History Room will be changed to reflect

Christmases of the past. Do you have items of this nature to

share with us? We are still looking for items that can be used

as display cases and a moveable bulletin board. Thanks to

the donor of the two mannequins.
