Finally the lilacs are blooming and the
hummingbirds are back!
Congratulations to all the seniors graduating this weekend!
Jalyn Bryan is this year's winner of the Stoner Family Scholar-
ship. Can you believe there's only 2 weeks of school left?
Continued get well wishes to Nancy Crownover, Rich Lechner,
Roland Rodaway, Bill Davis, and Sheila Glathar.
If you haven't done it already, please mark your calendars for
the Unadilla Alumni Dinner and the SDA Alumni Banquet, both
on Memorial Day Weekend. The Unadilla Library will again host
a luncheon on Monday, May 28th. The History and Veterans
rooms will also be open that day. You never know who you
might run into!
It's been a long time coming, but Saturday morning we made the
trip to Peru to see our daughter Michele graduate, with a degree
in Criminal Justice Administration, Cum Laude. Congratulations
girl! We are so proud of you!
This week is the 68th anniversary of the 1950 flood that
practically destroyed the old Highway #2 and washed a bus off
the road and into the Nemaha, just east of Unadilla. It was probably
the main reason for the change in the course of the highway, as so
many people were affected. There is a large photo display
in our History room.
Plans are under way for the Unadilla BBQ. The village will again
have golf carts to ferry folks back and forth. They will also be
delivering meals to those who can not attend due to age or illness.
If you want to be on the list, call Corinne at 828-5355. Keep your
fingers crossed for good weather. Follow the updates on our
Facebook Page: Unadilla Bill - Groundhog Celebration.
Next Tuesday is the Primary Election. Residents will vote in the
Duncan Building as always. Remember, if you don't vote,
you lose the right to complain!

are now available - just click on the Village Office tab

Hy Guthals, 2 1/2 miles south of town." Buchanan & Finigan,
proprietors of the moving picture show, were going to build an
Airdome between the Hair Store and the Botsford Building.
Taylor Graham and John DeLaney would do the work. "It was
decided to issue sugar cards to consumers allowing them to
purchase 100 lbs. of sugar during the canning season;
