The last day of school has been moved from the 21st to the 20th.

The 25th Anniversary Cornhusker State Games will be held July 17-26. It will feature 65 different sports.

Thanks to all the students at Unadilla School for picking up trash, branches, and cans at the Park on Earth Day.

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

Friday, 5-7-1909, The Otoe Union: Ordinance #63 was passed levying 9 mills on the dollar for real estate tax, and $3.00 labor tax on each male citizen between 21 and 50 years of age. Editor stated, "Some have been brave enough to plant corn." Dr. F.J. Farwell from "St. Joe" was to replace Dr. Coffman. James White was bitten by a "mad-dog" and left immediately on the train for Chicago where he hoped to get treatment.
