VILLAGE OF UNADILLA, NEBRASKA

REGULAR BOARD MEETING

May 8, 2013

The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Unadilla, Nebraska, was held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, 7:30 p.m. at the Unadilla Community Library. Notice of said meeting and proposed agenda of then known subjects was given by posting in the three following places within the Village: Countryside Bank, Post Office, and Community Center Notice Board; and by serving a copy of said notice to each member of the Board of Trustees more than 5 days prior to said meeting. Trustees present: Dan Crownover, Dale Stoner, Janet Oelke, Sharon Baker, and Scott Hincker.

Chairman Crownover called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. He reminded everyone of the location of the Open Meetings Act Poster.

Stoner made a motion to approve the April 2013 minutes, Hincker seconded, and motion carried 5-0.

Oelke made a motion to approve the April 2013 treasurer's report, Baker seconded, motion carried 5-0.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

The amount of the Keno check was $1,644.12.

Water consumed: 885,000; water paid for: 585,000; balance for month:

-300,000; YTD: -910,000.

There were no public comments.

In regards to Schoolhouse items: Clerk reported that the new lettering would be installed Friday

Burgman/Kroese/Nuisance Properties were tabled. Clerk to contact SENDD representative to attend the June meeting.

Clean up day Dale Stoner to attend for board

NEW BUSINESS

Hincker made a motion to hire C.P.A., Gary Pavel, Stoner seconded, motion carried 5-0.

Final preparations for the BBQ were discussed.

Baker made a motion to change Ordinance #257-10, for the time change of selling alcohol on Sundays to 6:00 a.m., Oelke seconded, motion carried 5-0.

The abandon well was discussed. Clerk to contact the fire chief as to his

opinion.

The man hole cover south of Glen Lewis's and the sewer by Amber Kempkes was discussed. Syracuse is to come flush out the sewer.

Discussion was held on aggressive (dangerous) dogs.

Hincker made a motion to approve the beer and wine tasting for June 22, 2013 at TR Mart, Oelke seconded, motion carried 5-0.

Stoner made a motion to approve the purchase of a sprayer for the town, Hincker seconded, motion carried 5-0.

Hincker made a motion to pay claims, Baker seconded, and motion carried 5-0.

The list of delinquent water and sewer patrons was reviewed. Shut-offs has been sent to: Ashley Field, Kyle Gress, Aaron Paul, Brenda Walker, Ron Isaacs, Ken Johnson, and Shon Ryan.
