So much sadness lately. Condolences to the family and friends
of Marie (Callaway) Swain, former resident and daughter
of Bill Callaway, who passed on 4-11. On Sunday, 4-17, we
lost Ron Johnson and Christopher Halvorsen. Our sympathy
to their friends and families also.
Welcome to Sheila & Charlie Downey who now reside at the
former residence of John & Linda Kastens. They wanted to
share this website:

It has lots of photos of local farmsteads taken
approximately 40 years ago. Thanks Downeys'!
Did you know from 1915 to 1939, Nebraska license plates were
2 colors and changed colors every year? In 2015 there were
1.4 million licensed drivers in Nebraska and 2.28 million registered
vehicles.
In honor of Earth Day: Did you know if the use of cloth diapers
increased by just 1%, the reduction in waste would be about the
same as 14,200 households no producing any garbage for an
entire year?
