Thought for the day:

"Don't take life too seriously; no one gets out alive."

Which reminds me of K.C. Stoner, who always said when

I asked him how he was, "Any day above ground is

a good one Sis!"

This is a very nice, affordable historical commercial building and is located in Unadilla Ne 1/2 mile south of a very busy HWY 2. Located on Main st. which is one block long. The building has had lots of renovation done to it in the last 10 yrs. Roof 2016, air conditioner 2015, water heater 2010, furnace 2006, back and side interior and exterior brick walls stuccoed 2006. Original metal ceiling renovated, there are hardwood floors, but they are currently covered with carpet. Including Main street was renovated in 2007. This is currently a salon, but would make a great retail store or office.

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

Vintage Baseball_Player

Friday, 8-11-1916, The Otoe Union:

"Old corn is coming into the elevators pretty lively this week."

Unadilla beat the "Muddy Rats" 9-5, Stilwell being the best

pitcher. (Anybody know which Stilwell?) The Nebraska

Prosperity League ran a half page ad opposing the State

prohibition of liquor. The Nebraska State Fair was advertised,

as the "World's best Livestock, Agriculture, Horticulture,

and Domestic exhibits."
