Sunset at Unadilla

There was a nice turn out for the Rescue Soup Luncheon
Sunday, March 25th. The food was very good (terriffic chili soup!)
and the conversation was great. The Squad would like to thank
everyone who participated and attended.
Special concerns for Roland Rodaway, our oldest resident.
Continued get well wishes to Jack Stilwell, Joyce Schulze,
Norm Duncan, Bill Davis, Sheila Glathar, and Rich Lechner.
Thank you to Lois Ebert for her contribution of a Unadilla
High School graduation invitation from 1924. It will be on
display in the History Room.

The federal "Daylight Law" was signed and would begin on 3-30-1918

"Louie" Johnson shared his letter with the paper. He talked about
watching air battles on clear days - "somewhere in France." Mary
Copley died and was buried in Unadilla. Ruth Brethouwer was the
teacher at Otoe County School District #43, Antelope School. When
she was sick, her father, Rev. Brethouwer of the Hopewell church,
