We're waiting on names for the 5K, tractor pull, etc. and

they will be included in next week's news. Corinne did report

that between 550 - 600 people ate or took home food from 

the BBQ - that might be an all time record!

Friday, 6-29-1917, The Otoe Union:

There was a list of "Liberty Bonds bought and sold by the

Banks of Otoe County." The Bank of Unadilla had sold a

total of $8550; total for the county (16 banks) was $309,850.

Harvey West was the new agent for Crow-Elkhart cars.

The Thomas family, who had left Unadilla 34 years earlier,

returned for a visit.
