VILLAGE OF UNADILLA

REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

July 19, 2012

            The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the Village of Unadilla, NE, was held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2012 in the Library at the Community Center. Notice of said meeting was given by posting in the three following places with the village: Countryside Bank, Post Office, and Community Center message board, not published in the Syracuse Journal-Democrat, published on www.UnadillaNebraska.com. A copy of said notice was served to each member of the Planning Commission more than 10 days prior to the meeting date. Members present were: Steve Vodicka, Irene Rodaway, and Jason Schomerus. Absent and not voting: Scott Hincker and Chad Pester. Visitors: none.

            Rodaway made a motion to approve the April 11, 2012 minutes, Schomerus seconded, and motion carried 3-0.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

            There were three new Building/Zoning permits issued; Phil Willnerd, grain bin; Tom Lewis, deck; Bartling Bros., replacing part of a building.

            Wilhelm reported that all updates had been put in place. She stated that the “Fee” ordinance would have to be updated in the future to include “Flood Plain Development Permit” for $100.

            There were no Public Comments.

NEW BUSINESS

            The group welcomed Jason Schomerus, who was appointed to fill the vacancy from Jay Jensen. Schomerus’ term will expire in December 2015. He was given an updated Comprehensive Plan manual and a brief overview of some of the new updates.

            The meeting adjourned at 7:52 p.m.

The next meeting will be October 18, 2012, 7:30 p.m., at the Village Library.
