The railroad workers have been very busy on the railroad tracks that run east and west out of town. It seems those trains just get longer and longer...not complaining!

Edwin Howarth and son James, were overcome by gas in a well they were cleaning, and both of them died. "A. Botsford still assumes his old job cutting grain and putting up hay on the farm, regardless of being 80 years old." Elmer Graham unloaded a 35 ton carload of coal for the school house.

Manley, Neb. - The Lofte Community Theatre will open Beauty and the Beast, July 20th, 2024. The show will run through August 4th with performances Thursday through Sunday, with Sunday performances at 2 PM.
