From Renowned Cub Reporter, Bob Wilhelm:
Great ideas abound in our town! This time of year gardeners have vegetables coming out of their ears. Jerry Wallen has parked a wagon north of Nitty Gritty Gas N' Thrift. People are invited to donate excess veggies and fruits for others to enjoy with a Free Will Offering. Proceeds will be split between the Unadilla Fire and Unadilla Rescue. Knick-knack items welcome. Remaining items will be disposed of as necessary. Thanks to Nitty Gritty, who will collect the money nightly. Great idea Jerry!
Another Otoe County Fair is in the books! It was a hot one, but we think there were more exhibits this year!

See y'all next year!!!
If you are a resident of the Village and have trees on your property, please check to see if you have any hanging into the street. School will be starting soon and remember, buses will be travelling our streets. They don't have as much room to manuever as cars do. Please, trim back the trees on your property that are near the street, and thank you in advance!
The SHS Class of 1967 lost another from our roster. Condolences to the many family and friends of Sue (Morrissey) Mackenzie. She was a bright light and was always ready with a smile.
Are you and your kids/grandkids ready for the start of school? First day is August 15th. Aren't you amazed that summer is "over" already?
Thanks so much to the family of Susie Wyatt for their generous donation to the Unadilla Cemetery. It is most appreciated.
Have you checked out our amazing library???
