SEAL
Don't you just love our Nebraska weather? Glad the ice is gone
(maybe!) and thankful for the little bit of rain. Spring is almost
here (we've seen our first live groundhog at the Western Wilhelm
Outpost!) and so is ball season. You'll start seeing a lot of activity
at the ball park now, so be on the lookout for kids!
Reminder: the intersection by the ballfield is a 4-way stop.
The Village Board has added some handrails to make it
easier for us "oldsters" to find a seat in the bleachers.
Play ball!
Continued get well wishes for Norm Duncan, Bill Davis,
Sheila Glathar and Rich Lechner.
Congratulations to the the SDA boys basketball team,
who will begin their journey for a state title this Thursday.
Go Rockets!
Thanks for all the responses on the Nebraska stamps!
They are on the way!

"FOR SALE: One dozen Plymouth Rock hens. Inquire of
PAUL HAIR." Ray Lyon and family were moving back to
Unadilla from Merna, Nebraska, and Herman Barker and
family were moving back from South Dakota. From the
editor: "The German peace dove has more the appearance
of a vulture." Unadilla Cash Market: "We serve short orders
and meals at all hours. Oysters and celery. Fresh Bread."
