Need to get out of the house for an hour? Don't forget our library can be

accessed when the Village Office is open, Thursday nights from 5-7 p.m.,

and Saturday mornings from 9-11 a.m.

If you need to get some exercise, the Village has an exercise room and a big

gymnasium to walk in. Individual memberships are only $25 a yearl.

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

 

Friday, 2-14-1919, The Otoe Union:

Returning soldiers were urged to take the Civil Service Exam. Sawing wood

and shelling corn was the order of the day. L.C. Miesbach and son Albert, 

went to the Farmers Union state convention in Omaha. Henry Riege, 9 year-old

son of Ernest, died of diptheria and was buried in North Branch Cemetery.

 

 

 

 

The United Methodist Church will celebrate its 125th anniversary on

Sunday, March 10, 2019, at 10:15, followed by a potluck dinner. If you
