Hello Spring 500

Sad to report that long time former resident Darrel Isaacs passed away March 16th.

He will be buriedin the Unadilla Cemetery. Condolences to his many

family and friends.

Sunday evening, March 17, Unadilla Volunteer Fire & Rescue held their annual

banquet at The Bar.Arliss, the meal was wonderful as usual. And there were some

great old memories shared. The newEMT's are Alexis Seelhoff and

Sam Radford. Honored for answering the most fire calls was Alexis

Seelhoff; for the most rescue calls was Steve Vodicka. Irene Rodaway was

honored for her 20 yearsof service and Steve Vodicka, Betty Vodicka and

Linda Liesemeyer were honored for 25 years of service. What would we do

without these folks? Please thank them for their dedication. If you'd like

to become a member, please call Steve Vodicka or Linda Liesemeyer.

Please remember the many flood victims in our area, those who had to evacuate

and thoseresponders determined to make things right. This says it

all (from FB): "The oak foughtthe wind andwas broken. The willow bent

when it must and survived. - Robert Jordan.

Nebraskans are willows. We bend in the wind and flow with the flood. We survive."
