Village Maintenance would like to remind everyone that the only things

accepted at the burn pile are trees, branches, and unfinished lumber

(no nails). NO LEAVES OR GARBAGE PLEASE! That could make us lose

our permit with the state, and then there would be no burn pile.

 Going to heaven 300

So sad to report the passing of Ron Wenninghoff, former teacher at

Unadilla for many years, County School Supt., veteran and all-around good

guy. He will be missed by all as he touched so many lives. Condolences to

his many family and friends.

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

 th 3

Friday, 3-28-1919, The Otoe Union:

"America's war task will not be over until all of the wounded men are out of

the hospitals and every man fitted by education for some occupation which

will enable him to take his place among his fellow man as a free and independent

American citizen. Part of the job the Government now has on it's hands is the

splendid work of reconstruction of its gallant defenders." (Well said Mr. Editor).
