Village Board Meeting Tonight (Wednesday)
7:30 p.m. at Village Library
The Public is always welcome!
Anyone else getting a call from this number: 402-307-5017? We've had
several the last few weeks. The Caller ID is "Illegal Scam", so why would
they expect us to answer???

Congratulations to all the seniors graduating this weekend!
What an amazing bunch of kids.

Get well wishes to Dwight Kastens - hope you feel better real soon!
If you haven't done it already, please mark your calendar for the Unadilla
Alumni Dinner and the SDA Alumni Banquet, both on Memorial Day weekend.
The Unadilla Library will again host a luncheon on Monday, May 27th. The
History and Veterans rooms will also be open that day. You never know
who you might run into!

Condolences to the family of former resident Pauline Catanach, after she lost her
brave battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Vincent and Ila Faye Miller.

Sunday evening was pretty scary. Our neighbors spent part of the evening
in the basement of Lee's Chicken and our daughter's movie at Eastpark was
interrupted by some time in the basement also. One Omaha chanel had
quite the time trying to track the storm as you could tell they were unfamiliar
with Lincoln streets. We had our basement door open and did go down for
a while. So glad there were no human injuries.
Plans are under way for the Unadilla BBQ. Sadly, this will probably
be the last time Orchard Hill will be cooking for us. The Village will again
have golf carts to ferry folks back and forth. They will also be delivering
meals to those who can not attend due to age or illness. If you want to
be on the list, call Corinne at 828-5355. Keep your fingers crossed for
good weather! We'll have a poster soon listing all the days activities.
If you've been thinking about having a garage sale, this would be an
excellent day for it. The Community Center will be open from 8 - 2
that day, so restrooms will be available then.
