From Sue Saathoff:
The Unadilla Community Library once again hosted the Memorial Day Luncheon. It was well
attended withapprox. 80 people enjoying good food and good company. A huge thank you to
the Village Board for the set up and take down of tables and chairs. Also thanks to Peggy Leefers,
Alberta Block, Jan Maloy, and Glenda Willnerd for serving. Proceeds benefit the Library.
Thank you to all the volunteers who put up and took down flags at the Unadilla
Cemetery. Your dedication despite the weather was awesome! Thanks to Todd Krieger
for once again mowing and trimming to perfection. And lastly, to the Palmyra Legion
Post for the ceremony they performed and Darren Donovan for his amazing talent
of playing the bugle. It's events like this that make Otoe County such a great
place to live!
And thanks to Shelby Wallen for the photos and letting us share them!
