Village Board Meeting Tonight (Wednesday)
7:30 p.m. at the Library
The public is always welcome!
Friday, June 14th, is Flag Day

A huge thank you to these folks for cleaning up and painting at the Village Park:
Clark Stubbendeck, Jeannie Steinkuhler, Peggy Leefers, Janet Oelke, Lynn
Schomerus, Corinne Zahn, Karen Hassler and Jim & Mary Pope.
You did a great job!
Saturday, June 15, will be our Village Clean Up Day. There will be roll-off
dumpsters at the Park. Let's get the town looking good for Unadilla Day!

Wishes for a speedy recovery to Joyce Schulze, Kathryn Ganger and Sandi Kimbell.

Did you know that a glass bottle thrown away today will still be here
in the year 3000? Recycle those things!
Keep checking our FB page: Unadilla Bill - Groundhog Celebration for the latest
updates on the BBQ and related activities. For you early morning garage salers,
the restrooms at the Community Center will be open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Keep your drinking water safe: Check drain lines (refrigerator drink dispensers,
water softeners, heat exchangers, etc.) to be sure there is an adequate air gap
between the drain line and the floor drain or sewer line into which they discharge.
TOUR DATE!
We've had so many folks ask about touring our new facility in Unadilla that
we're holding an MK Meats Open House. Join us June 22 from 10 am to 2 pm
and see the new building up close and personal.

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

Friday, 6-13-1919, The Otoe Union:
Frieda Pickett, Julius Guthals, Louie Fey and Leslie Reasoner were the 1919
graduates of Unadilla High School. The Unadilla Telephone Company applied
to the Nebraska Commission to increase the telephone rates to $1.25 per month
for all classes of service. R. Reasoner rented Finigan's building, which had been
used as a cream station, and would open a restaurant, which the editor
agreed was immensely needed.
