Didn't have the best weather for the Unadilla BBQ, but still a good turnout

considering. We were happy to entertain a lot of visitors at the Community Center.

The day started out with the 5K Run/Walk.

And they're off!

M K Meats opened the doors on their new facility for tours. How lucky we

are to have these folks and their employees.

We'll have more results in the future. Many thanks to Fire & Rescue for manning

the concession stand during the day. Also thanks to the volunteers who helped

set up, tear down, clean up and all the other "little jobs" that go along with this

event. Thanks especially to Corinne Zahn and the Town Board: they improve

things every year. Just another reason we're proud to tell folks

we're from Unadilla!

Disneyland Duals wrestling competition last week.

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

 

Friday, 6-27-1919, The Otoe Union:

The Commercial Hotel was now the Graham Hotel (probably owned by

Taylor Graham and on the site owned by David Lewis.) The Farmer's Union

Cooperative bought the Farmer's Elevator for $15,000 and would take full

possession on July 1. In a notice from the Unadilla Merchants Assn.,

all businesses would be closed for July 4th.
