Congratulations to MK Meats on the grand opening of their facility! It included yummy
food and various vendors in an outdoor market. Approximately 1500 people attended.
What a boost for our downtown! We urge you to shop local!

Did you attend a one room school house or know someone who did?

If so, stop into the Unadilla Community Library and check out our new book
"Nebraska One Room Heroes". The book honors the men and women who
dedicated themselves to teaching in rural Nebraska country schools over the last
150 years. A big thank you to Gera Stilwell for donating this book.

Condolences to the friends and family of Ernie Schmucker, who passed away
August 2. He was one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He will be laid to rest
beside his wife in the Unadilla cemetery.

The Unadilla Methodist Church will hold its annual ice cream social on Sunday,
August 18, from 11 - 1. A free will donation includes you choice of homemade ice
creanm sandwiches, pie and other desserts, and various refreshments.
It's always great food!

Sign up now for the Unadilla Open Golf Tournament on Sundy, 9-15-2019,
at Wildwood Golf Course in Nebraska City. Call Corinne at the Village Office
to put your name on the list.

Continued get well wishes to Dwight Kastens, Jason Schomerus, Brody
Hitzemann and Nina Rohlfs.
Just a friendly reminder: the burn pit facility is only for trees, tree trimmings or raw
lumber. NO furniture, leaves, yard waste, painted lumber, dry wall or bags of garbage.
If the state finds these items in the burn pit, we would be in violation of our permit and
the site would be shut down. That would be a big loss to Unadilla as well as the residents.
If you're not sure, please call the Village Office.
