Hasn't the weather been nice (except for that wind)? We'll probably pay for it before the month is over! The rain on Monday was nice.

Chose to paint a wine bottle with lights or try your hand at pour painting!
All supplies provided. Cost $25. (less for small canvases). Contact Sharon Demaree, Peggy Leefers, Sue
Saathoff --- or stop into the Library.

Condolences to Lee & Mary Margaret Clark on the loss of their grandson in Missouri.

Every once in a while Bob and I venture outside of Otoe County. Sunday afternoon we first went to Hamburg, Iowa, to see old buildings they are going to demolish. We also found several abandoned houses on the west side of town. Then we took the backroad to Rock Port and looked at all the work they are doing there. The visibility on 136 to Brownville was horrible due to the dirt in the air was mixed with smoke from a large fire between I-29 and the river. After we crossed the bridge, we went down towards the water to look at the riverboats and the park. We could see the road had been covered with a couple feet of mud.

The picnic tables were submerged in dirt up past the benches.

It was just sad to see all the damage that still remains. We learned at the winery that the town's business dropped by 30% while the bridge was closed.

Treasurer’s Unclaimed Property Tabloid to be Published in Nebraska Newspapers
(Lincoln, NE) Treasurer John Murante announced today the 2020 Unclaimed Property Annual Report will be published in 16 Nebraska newspapers in the coming weeks, beginning March 8 in the Omaha World-Herald and the Scottsbluff Star-Herald.
