Please everyone, if the lids won't close on the recycle bins, don't try to pile your items on top, or leave them lying on the ground. The containers have lids for a reason!!!
Being told to stay home, or six feet apart, or to wear a mask, or any of the many other things we're being told to do isn't easy for those of us from the Midwest. Please be patient, keep in touch with your neighbors and family, and try to stop the spread of the virus. We're all in this together! Stay safe!

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

Friday, 4-16-1920, The Otoe Union:
"Miss Florence West expects to soon leave for Chappell, Nebr., to spend the summer." Shullsdale school would close for the year on April 23rd, with a picnic and program. The U.S. Department of Agriculture was urging everyone to "make a thrift garden. Tomatoes should find a place in every garden, as should spinach, chard, and other kinds of greens."
