Don't know who cut the tree down in Jerry & Shelby's yard,  but this is what it ended up as! We love it!

Saturday morning, the Cemetery Board met at the cemetery, 6 feet apart and in the fresh, but chilly, air. Minutes of the last meeting were approved and adjustments made to the Index Board. Tree trimming was discussed as was replacing the fence on the east side of the cemetery. Todd Krieger was again awarded the mowing contract. Members present: Dean Luff, Dean Speth, Keith & Sandi Kimbell, and Bob & Barb Wilhelm. Please join us Memorial Day weekend for the putting up and taking down of the flags. If you would like to be a member at large, please contact Dean Luff. We can always use new ideas and extra hands.

Rest in peace

Condolences to the family and friends of Nyla (West) Lorenson, who passed away on Friday, April 17th. She grew up in Unadilla, the daughter of George & Dessie West, and married Gayle "Boots" Lorenson. She will be laid to rest in the Unadilla Cemetery.

Reminder: the area fenced in around the community center's first purpose if for the enjoyment of children. You are more than welcome to bring your dog into it, just make sure you close the gate if you are going to take its leash off. And here's the major reason for the reminder: please refer to the first sentence and pick up the poop! We all share this wonderful facility so let's keep it that way. Thank you.

Arbor Day Plant One 250

What are you going to do for Arbor Day, this Friday, April 24th? With the "stay home" and "social distancing", it might be more of a clean up day at the Western Wilhelm Outpost. Only one of our seedlings from last year survived, but it is healthy and thriving. We may get to plant a tree after all!
