Just a reminder: the water tower is undergoing some outside maintenance and it will take about 10 days.

May is Nation Bike month. Get yours out and dust if off!
Paula Carmichael and Sue Shearer have left us in the dust!
As Paul Harvey used to say, "And now for the rest of the story": The tree at Jerry Wallen's was taken down by the heavy snow. Jerry is the chainsaw artist with help from brother Matt. Great job guys!

Thanks so much to Glenda Willnerd, Shari Timm, Gordon Hopp, and Leland Carmichael for their donations to our History and Veterans Rooms. It is all most appreciated.
Sadly, the Memorial Day dinner at the Community Center will probably be cancelled. No news on the ceremony at our cemetery yet. It is confirmed that there won't be a ceremony at Park Hill in Syracuse on Memorial Day.
Bob Brandt reports that he and his helpers gave away 225 bald cypress trees on Arbor Day. Every single tree makes a difference in our environment and the air we breathe. A pear tree was planted at the Western Wilhelm Outpost; mulched and fenced to keep the deer away. Fingers crossed!

Continued good health to all of you as the state begins to open up. I will continue to stay close to home, but understand the need to get back to work and a paycheck. Just stay safe everyone!

Have you voted by mail yet? It was so easy, we may continue the process in the future.

Monday, May 4th, is "Star Wars Day".
