In the Library at 7:30 p.m.

Remember, if you're 65 or older, you're entitled to a lower rate on your garbage bill.

On July 18 at 10:00 a.m., the Otoe County Democrats will hold their monthly meeting at the Unadilla Park under the shelter. All Otoe County Democrats are welcome to attend. Come meet the newly elected officers and share your ideas and visions for the future. Ice tea and snacks will be provided. Remember, Democracy is not a spectator sport. It would be good to bring a folding chair and please wear a mask. We want everyone to be safe!

At least 3 properties in Unadilla have recently changed hands. Please welcome these new residents!

 Flags at Tecumseh 495

Bob and I travelled to Tecumseh on Saturday, July 4th. They decorate the town square and veterans memorial with over 300 American flags. It is a sight to behold! On the way out of town, we noticed they have built a new Aquatic Center. The pool was filled with water and the water slide is amazing, but don't think it's open yet. We're always impressed with that town!

Continued get well wishes to everyone who's been sick. Otoe County now has 40 confirmed cases of Corona-virus. Please wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, and keep 6 feet apart!

Rest in peace

Our condolences to the family of Wauneta (Stoner) King. She passed away July 4 in Texas. She was the daughter of Holly & Elta Stoner and was born 2-26-1927 near Palmyra. She will be laid to rest near her parents in the Unadilla Cemetery.
