Since Papillion Sanitation was closed on Labor Day, residential routes will be running one day behind during the week of September 7. Normal pickup days will resume on Monday, September 14th. Thank you.

The flag at our cemetery has been lowered to half mast in honor of LPD Investigator Mario Herrera, who lost his 2 week battle with a gunshot wound. Prayers to his family on the loss of such a wonderful man.
Please fly an American flag of any size on Friday, September 11, Patriot Day. Honor those who lost their lives, their families, and those who are still fighting today, at home and abroad, to preserve our freedom.
The Village Library will be closed until furthur notice. If necessary, call Peggy at 828-5725.

We have been invaded by hummingbirds. We assume they are gearing up to travel south.

The case total for Otoe County as of Tuesday morning, 9-8-2020, was 126. Please keep in mind, several of these have recovered. The death count has remained at 1.
