Continued get well wishes to everyone who's been sick. We had 31 cases of Covid in one day last week, and the death tally has went up by one, for a total of 3. (Pretty sure this should be 6 or 7.)

Sadly, due to present circumstances beyond our control, the Groundhog Central Committee is cancelling the King & Queen contest for 2021. If agreeable, we will renominate the same people next year, so they will have all that time to collect their "votes". Having said that, we will have honorary royalty for 2021. Anyone who can raise $5000 (or more!) can become a King or Queen for life! You may also donate on behalf of someone else. Let's keep the spirit of the Groundhog alive!

Thank you post its 250

Thanks so much to Kathryn Botsford Callaway for the information sent to us for the Resource Room. We've had several interesting items donated over the past year. We're hoping to resume research in a few months. Thanks everyone for your patience!

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

 Man reading newspaper 250

Friday, 1-21-1921, The Otoe Union:

"Ducks were seen flying north." After 4 basketball games, Guy Dean, center, was the top scorer with 63 points. John Feys' welcomed a baby boy weighing in at 11 1/2 lbs. The editors published a very interesting letter from Arthur E. Cowel, former Unadilla resident who moved to Keota, Colorado.

Country Music Friends,

Regrettably, although in the best interest of all of our patrons and performers, due to the covid-19 pandemic, we have decided to cancel all shows for the foreseeable future.

It's our hope that 2021 brings good health to everyone and we can reopen to get back to some good ol' country music with our friends.

Thank you for your continued support.
