Beginning March 1, The Bar will be closed for lunch Tuesday through Saturday. They will open at 5 p.m. and close at 10 p.m. these days and continue to be closed on Sundays and Mondays. There will no longer be Mexican food on Friday nights, but will still do Prime Rib on Saturday nights.

Continued get well wishes to Bev Crownover, Steve Kroese, and all others under the weather. A reminder to keep wearing those masks, even if you've had the first shot. Otoe County numbers just keep creeping up. We now have 7 deaths. (Southeast District Health Dept. show 124 active cases out of 1296 total cases, and 9 deaths).
Since we had appointments in Nebraska City on Monday, we decided to drive down to Auburn and look at where they had the fire. It's east of the main intersection on Hwy #136 and it was still smoking heavily. Only one car was saved. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Reasoner and family, left for their new home at Shubert, Nebraska. Lawrence Kruger started at Maple Grove school in North Russell. In Shullsdale news, Sam Pickerill and bride arrived from Ohio, where they were married.
