NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

 Man reading newspaper 250

Friday, 4-15-1921, The Otoe Union:

"BREEDERS ATTENTION: I will stand my two Jacks, Stonewall and Blue Jacket, and my Percheron Stallion, Romeo, at my farm 1 1/2 miles west of Unadilla. Service fees: $10.00 for season, or $15.00 to insure living colt. If mare is sold or removed from county, service fees become due at once. H.A. Luff." Nelson Everest died and was buried in the Unadilla cemetery. The B & M depot was robbed during the night. "The time is opportune both for gardening and fishing. The wise man will do both."
