The Tim Boerner Memorial Horseshoe Pitching Contest was held Saturday, June 26, at the Unadilla Park. It was sponsored by the NMHC Men's Club (NMHC = Nemaha Muddy Hooper Creeks). For the first time, we have 2 women taking the highest honors! Congratulations to Ali Brinkman and Haley Harsin!!!

Wow! All this rain has been nice. It was a welcome relief from all that hot weather. We did have one night where it looked like a tornado might hit Unadilla. The strong winds did some damage around town and bent some of our apple trees to a 45 degree angle.

The temperature was 100 degrees "in the shade." The Unadilla Chautauqua was to be held July 8-12. Everyone was encouraged to attend. Burlington Railroad was promoting "Going East". This included the Jersey Coast, Boston, The Adirondack's, the Catskills, and Niagara Falls.
