We've had this smoke/haze for over 2 weeks now. Does make for a pretty sunrise. Saturday evening saw some pretty bad weather around us. Thankfully we had just a few tree branches down and 2.30" of rain. Perfect timing!

 

 

 

 

Congratulations to Todd & Candy Crownover on the marriage of their son Lucas. Great photos everyone!

 

 

 

 Reminding people to make sure they have an house address numbers posted on their houses so when a fire/rescue call goes out we can find the scene.  We are getting desperate on needing new members, especially EMTs/Nurses.  Firefighters are needed also, but our medical calls are growing in numbers every year and our membership is shrinking every year.

Wishing we could still see the results of Covid cases here in Otoe County, as there just doesn't seem to be any way to verify. Be safe everyone, this rise in cases couldn't happen at a worse time.

REGULAR MEETING

UNADILLA VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO BE HELD ON AUGUST 11^TH IS POSTPONED UNTIL AUGUST 18TH

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Unadilla, Nebraska, will meet in a publicly convened session on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, instead of August 11^th at 7:30 p.m. at the Village Community Center, 770 G Street, Unadilla, Nebraska. The agenda of subjects to be considered at said meeting is kept continuously current and available for public inspection at the Village Office.

 

• Budget Workshop
• One- & Six-Year Discussion
• Discuss and Approve Insurance Premium
• Discuss ARP Funds Received

 

Except for items of an emergency nature, the agenda shall not be enlarged later than twenty-four hours before the scheduled commencement of the meeting. Any persons needing special accommodations should contact the Village Office at least five days prior to the meeting date.

Friday, 8-12-1921, The Otoe Union:

F.L. Kruger rented the Pell farm north of town. W.N. Russell was moving to Farnum, NE. J.E. Cowel purchased the home of Wm. Taney, Taney then purchased the home of Mrs. Ellis West. The Burlington Railroad was promoting trips to Glacier National Park for "out-of-doors folks, hikers, and horsebackers."
