Get well wishes 150

Get well wishes to everyone who's been under the weather and there has been a bunch of you. The Christian Church did not hold services this past Sunday and will not have one this coming Sunday, January 30. The Methodist Church continues to be able to hold Sunday services.

Rest in peace

Our condolences to Cay Rowley and family, on the passing of her brother, Todd Schmucker. Todd graduated from SHS in 1983.

Unadilla Nicknames by Bob "TooTall" Wilhelm, Cub Reporter

 1950s kids 250

If you are a dyed in the wool member of the Unadilla Tribe, you have known for a long time that we are a peculiar bunch. Recently, I was thinking about all the people I knew growing up and now know, that have nicknames that have stayed with them into adulthood, or at least these names have stuck in the memories of their friends and acquaintances to this day. The origins of some of these aliases have been forgotten, and that is probably for the best. Here is an opportunity for Unadillaites to test their Cardinal pedigree. I will not list the real life identity of these folks in an attempt to protect the innocent, but give it a run to see how many you can name. Here we go: Buzz, Cool Breeze, also known as Norton, Chicken, Wild Man, Crazy, Fool, Tubby, Goo Goo, Burferd, S__tbird, Squeezebox, Rip-off, Dwidgit, Porky, Scope, and Sugar Cookie (just to name a few!). Hope this brings back good memories for you like it did for me.
