Mark your calendars for next Wednesday, March 2nd. The Lincoln Food Bank will be at the corner by the Park from 10-11 a.m.

The Unadilla Sundowners, an FCE Club, met on Tuesday, February 15th, at the Duncan Building. The group stuffed over 30 bears and bunnies. The project started by Sharon Demaree & Peggy Leefers distributes the handmade stuffed animals to anyone who needs a day brightener. Many have went to CASA, who gives them to kids in need. The community commends your generosity.

The Otoe County Legion & Auxiliary Convention was held at the Unadilla Community Center on Sunday, February 20. Fourteen men and women attended from Nebr. City, Syracuse, Palmyra, and Talmage Posts, along with the District 12 Commander. The past year's highlights from each community was shared. One of the main topis of conversation was the shrinking numbers of members in each community and what could be done to improve the situation.

We have several in the community taking treatments for different ailments. Sending get well wishes to you all!
Parking on Main Street is almost impossible some days after 4 p.m. It just makes you smile! SO glad to have a place to eat at night in town again. Breakfast at Nitty Gritty and supper at Mal's!!!

Friday, 2-24-1922, The Otoe Union:
"Workmen are busy putting in a filling station by the Farmer's Implement house." Freda Pickett was filling in for Belva Butler as telephone operator. The Casey Oil Company put in oil tanks in Unadilla and would have a truck making the rounds selling the oil. Arthur P. Wallen and Ida Sieplemeier were married in Lincoln.
