Mark your calendars for Monday, March 21, at 2 p.m. Nina Jean Rohlfs and her band, Three Chords & a Cloud of Dust will be playing in the gym at the Community Center. It's always a fun time, and there's even room to dance. No charge!

Due to the past couple of crazy years, the Unadilla Area Fund has opened up the option of being a Lifetime King or Queen for Groundhog's Day. Each candidate would need to raise $5000. For further details, contact any UAF member.

Also, thank you to these All Fund Drive contributors: Doug & Dawn Prelle.

Only 2 more weeks until Spring! And with that will come the beginning of softball/baseball season. Some teams are beginning practice now. It also means increased activity down at and around the ballpark. Please remember the intersection by the Park is now a 4-way stop. Be on the lookout for our kids!

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

 Man reading newspaper 250

Friday, 3-3-1922, The Otoe Union:

Will Jacobson & family left for their new home near Burlington, Colorado. "Wedlock in Fairyland" was given by the school students to a large crowd. Dick Mitchelson purchased the blacksmith shop from O.M. Sasseen and would open it as a filling station. He would also manage the oil agency. (Is this the property on the curve now owned by John Moss?) The Bank of Unadilla predicted "Good business conditions ahead."
