Due to the increased costs from inflation, the Unadilla BBQ will not be held this year. Garage sales will go on! If you would like to add your name to the list, please call Corinne at the Village Office, 402-828-5355.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Monday, May 30, at 10 a.m., at Hopewell Cemetery, a Veterans Memorial Tribute program will be held. The program is provided by the Bryan family with U.S. Army Col. (Ret.) John E. Bryan as the keynote speaker. All are welcome to attend.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Get well wishes to all those under the weather. Covid is on the rise in Lancaster county, let's keep it out of Otoe County!

 

 

 

Finally! Grandma Effie Wilhelm's roses are beginning to bloom.

 

 

 

Condolences to the family of Sherri (Brundieck) Golden who passed away in Texas. You may remember her as the step-daughter of Lou Callaway.

 

 

 

The American Legion held it's annual hamburger feed last Friday night and they had a great crowd. The funds are used to support the Legion baseball team. Thanks to everyone who helped cooking, serving, and cleaning up, and to those that attended. We couldn't do it without your support.

Friday, 5-19-1922, The Otoe Union:

"Paul Hair and wife have moved into the house in which the telephone exchange is located." Hair had taken charge of the Beatrice Creamery. Henrietta Guthals, wife of G.G. Guthals, and mother of 12 children, died at Unadilla and was buried in Litchfield, IL, beside her husband.
