First Day of Summer, Wednesday, June 21

While you're out hitting all the Unadilla garage sales, have some lunch and support our Rescue Squad!

Have you stopped at the Unadilla Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings? Gordon Hopp was a new addition last Saturday, selling Shari's wonderful jams and jellies! The group is looking for vendors with baked goods and more fresh produce. Hope to see you there next Saturday, 8 - 10 a.m. on Main Street.

Condolences to Teresa Liesemeyer and family on the loss of her mother, Imogene Bro. Also to Steve Kroese and family on the loss of his uncle, Coe Kroese, Jr.
There were some thefts around Unadilla and Syracuse of catalytic converters. It is reported that a suspect has been arrested.
We were lucky at the Western Wilhelm Outpost, just a lot of wind and rain. Those east and south of us were not so lucky.

Trees stripped of their leaves.

Shredded corn crop
We did hear that folks were getting stuck in the hail that covered Highway 50, south of Syracuse, and someone was called in with a road grader to clear the highway. Some in that area also reported 7 inches of rain. Thankful we haven't heard of any injuries.
Did you drive through town Saturday and see the great variety of old cars? Here's just a few:

This was our thermometer on Monday, June 13, at 3:23 p.m.
