Papillion Sanitation is closed Monday, 7-4, so garbage pickup will be one day later
Lincoln Food Bank will be at the Park on Wednesday, 7-6 from 10 - 11 a.m.
Saturday turned out to be a great day for the Unadilla Celebration! Thanks so much to Mal & Matt Wallen for taking this event on. You guys did an amazing job on such a short notice and we don't think you can be thanked enough.

The day started off with garage sales and a lunch for the Fire & Rescue at Jon Vodicka's. The funds will go to the purchase of a new ambulance.
Ron Polivka gave a presentation on the importance of pollination and how bees are one of the most important and prolific pollinators. It was given at the picnic shelter. Thanks Bob Brandt for making this happen.
Kids of all ages had a blast on the water slides and bouncy house.
The Dirty Boots Band played later at the ballfield, and the fireworks display can only be described as awesome!

All in all, it was an amazing day and thanks again to all who participated. (Hope everyone's recuperated!)
Carolyn Kastens will be turning 80 years young on July 1st! Her family is showering her with a card shower.

Friday, 6-30-1922, The Otoe Union:
J.D. Anderson was recuperating from 2 operations done at the Hillis Hospital in Syracuse. "Ed Stanley has had a truck body put on his auto and will do trucking." Mr. and Mrs. Friel Frost moved to Unadilla. Several early settlers in the area passed away.
