Our little town turned 151 in June. Congratulations to us, we're still growing! No place else we'd rather be.

The Unadilla Area Fund met last Tuesday night. Minutes will be available soon. We had a nice turn out.

Thank you to Jim & Marilyn Schreiner for sharing these photos taken in Horstman's Cafe:

The Saturday morning Farmer's Market is on hold for awhile. We'll let you know when it's back up and running. again.

We're glad to report that Bingo is making a return to the Otoe County Fair!

We've had so many donations to the Resource Room. Hundreds of funeral cards and newspaper clippings, among other things. Now to get them all filed. Can we help you with your family research?

Be careful in this heat and stay hydrated. We've already reached 100 at the Western Wilhelm Outpost once this year. Predictions indicate we may reach it again at least once in the next two weeks.

This shrub (Button Bush) is in the Main Street Arboretum on the west end. "A hardy and unique shrub that is not planted alot."

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

Man reading newspaper 250

Friday, 7-21-1922, The Otoe Union:

Dates were advertised for the Unadilla Chautauqua in August. One hundred loads of wheat were dumped at the elevator in one day. "Fred Fey, Henry Fey, and Harvey Johnson, have gone to Wymore to take up strike guard duty for the Burlington." M.C. Stonecipher, Hopewell pastor, and A.A. Wood, Paisley pastor, exchanged pulpits for one Sunday.
