The Lincoln Food Bank will be at the Southwest corner of the Park this morning (Wednesday), from 10 - 11 a.m. All are welcome!
ATTENTION ALL RESIDENTS & THOSE WHO DRIVE ON OUR STREETS:
After a long, long process, the construction company (Pavers) has informed the Village they may be starting on the streets the end of this week. If not this week, next week for sure. The streets that are being done are 9th Street from "I" to about "E" street, "F" Street form 9th to 7th, 6th Street from "G" to "F" Street, 6th Street from "I" to "H" Street, "H" Street from Main to 6th Street, and "G" Street from Main to 5th Street. Folks living on these streets will have to park on different streets during construction. We will try to notify you a couple of days before they come and see if they have a plan on the order they are doing them. If you have any questions, please call the Village Office at 402-828-5355.
If you are a resident of the Village and have trees on your property, please check to see if you have any hanging into the street. School will be starting soon and remember, buses will be travelling our streets. They don't have as much room to maneuver as cars do. Please, trim back the trees on your property near the streets, and thank you in advance.
Who can help me identify these cuties?
Yes, volunteers are still delivering Meals on Wheels. If you would like to be added to the list, please call Betty Vodicka at 402-430-4239.
Congratulations to Jerry & Judy (Stoner) Pope, who celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 29th. (Judy grew up in Unadilla and was the daughter of Harvey & Kate Stoner.) What a great accomplishment in this day and age!

We could really use some rain. This heat has been unbelievable! The fair goers survived it but will be remembered as one of the hottest summers ever. Would love to hear some of your stories of the county fair!
Condolences to Ben & Baillie Kroese on the passing of Ben's grandfather, Don Wheatley.
