We are so lucky to live in this small town and appreciate each business. What would we do without Dan's Tire, MK Meats, or Countryside Bank? We'd have to walk, we'd be vegetarians, and we'd have to use cash for everything!

Friday, 8-25-1922, The Otoe Union:
Unadilla still didn't have 12th grade; students had to pay tuition of $108 to go to other schools. Frank V. Davis died and was buried in Park Hill cemetery. Henry Horstman, Sr., went on vacation and L.F. Parker was in charge of the store. Lots of automobile accidents were reported. The C.B. & Q. Railroad were replacing men on strike; starting wages ranged from 47- 70 cents an hour.
