There's a remodeling project going on at Nitty Gritty. It's going to be quite nice when it's finished.

It's official! Duane Hansen is now in the Guinness World Records for his 37.5 mile trip down the Missouri River in his homegrown pumpkin.
The Craft Fair was a big hit this past weekend. The Library was also busy with lots of little visitors! The History and Veterans room had their share of visitors also. It's always a great time to catch up with old friends. See you next year!!!
SDA always does a great job honoring local veterans. On Thursday they presented a program put on by the 4th graders. Bob was honored to attend with his great niece Harper. The letters written by the children were amazingly thoughtful and much appreciated. Thank you kids!

The Syracuse Legion and VFW Auxiliaries also honored veterans with a coffee held at the Syracuse Library on Veterans Day.
Saturday, 5 local veterans were honored at a ceremony in the Veterans Memorial Building in Nebraska City, by the Blue Star Mother's group. Thank you for your service gentlemen. The quilts were hung on both balconies and the men got to choose their own quilt.
