VILLAGE BOARD MEETING TONIGHT (Wednesday)

Ron and Shirley Conradi celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on November 26-27, with a fun family weekend at the Lied Lodge in Nebraska City, NE. Those attending included Joel, Jen, Shiloh, and Jude Conradi from Olathe, KS; Jill and Curtis Stanberry, Claire & Spencer, Syracuse, NE; James, Justine, Roman and Rory Conradi, Syracuse, NE; John Jacobson, Dennis & Nila Jacobson, Lincoln, NE; and Bonnie Rhoten, Syracuse, NE. Congratulations Ron & Shirley!!!
The Unadilla Area Fund held a short meeting, Monday, December 5th. The current officers were re-elected for a second term: Bob Brandt, President, Maureen Vogt, Vice President, Donna Rae Crownover, Secretary, and Kristi Buller, Treasurer. Groundhog Day festivities were discussed as well as future projects. Brandt noted you can now vote for your favorite Groundhog King or Queen candidates at Mal's Bar & Grill.

We like patronizing all the local eating places near Unadilla, but when we go to Omaha, we like a little place called "Pizza West". And why you might ask? Because they make an amazing pizza called "Hey Gouda Looking". Yes, there's lots of gouda cheese and bbq sauce on it, but the rest remains a mystery! Give it a try!
Did you get any sleep Monday night? Between the thunder, lightning, wind, and sleet/hail it was just pretty darn noisy. Us kids need our beauty sleep!

Clara Leeman was substitute postmistress for Mrs. Bassett, who was home taking care of her sick husband. Don Callaway, proprietor of the Fairmont Creamery, bought $1756.36 worth of chickens, and there were still more for sale! Jasper Roberts bought lots in town to build a new house. A surprise 75th birthday party was held for J.W. Bassett.
