Unadilla Billie 450

Mark your calendars!

Unadilla Billie will be making her prediction Thursday morning, February 2nd, at approximately 7:20 a.m. in front of the Bank building.

See you then!

Cub reporter Bob found these very interesting facts on who owns the most land in the state of Nebraska. Out of 49,503,100 total acres, 549,346 are owned by the Federal Government; 445,000 by Ted Turner; 228,000 by the Church of Latter Day Saints; 20,588 by Bill Gates (who is the top private farmland owner in the United States); and 11,000 by the Nebraska Land Trust, for a total of 1,253,934 acres. Not complaining, just giving you something to think about!

Sunday evening, 40 Legion, VFW, and Auxiliary members met at the Syracuse Country Club for their annual joint holiday dinner. It was catered by Valentino's in Nebraska City. There was some great food and plenty of it! The different organizations gave reports on their activities for the past year. We really believe a good time was had by all and it was great catching up with everyone! Thanks Naomi for all your help.
