May you always

Have fun "wearin' the green" and be safe: don't run with bagpipes! You could put an eye out, or worse yet, get kilt!!!

Just about done with photos from Groundhog Day. If you have any more, send them to me now!

Rest in peace

Our condolences to the Pickerill family on the loss of their sister Mary. Daughter of Vern and Phyllis, she graduated SHS in 1974. She will be laid to rest in the Unadilla Cemetery.

Have you considered joining our Fire & Rescue Squad? The meetings are the second Monday of the month at the Fire hall. They can always use the help.

March is Poison Prevention month. Have you checked your medicine cabinets and cupboards for outdated medicines or chemicals? Is there anything in reach of small hands? Better safe than sorry!

Bob located another bald eagle nest. This one is just west of Unadilla.

 Man reading newspaper 250

Friday, 3-16-1923, The Otoe Union:

"Mike Young of the Lincoln school for barbers, spent Sunday here with his folks." Paul Hair was elected secretary of the Village Board. Ed Stanley had the mumps. Power went out in town and it was dark for 30 minutes. (How things have changed!) The worst storm of the winter occured this week.
