Get well wishes to everyone who's been under the weather, taking treatments, or in the hospital. SO ready for spring!

Village Maintenance would like to remind everyone that the only things accepted at the burn pile are trees, branches, and unfinished lumber (no nails.) NO LEAVES OR GARBAGE PLEASE! They could make us lose our permit with the state, and then there would be no burn pile. Thanks in advance.

Dirt work is being done preparing for the addition to the Unadilla Fire Station in the near future.

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO

 Man reading newspaper 250

Friday, 3-23-1923, The Otoe Union:

Mr. & Mrs. Harry Scarborough had moved onto the farm vacated by Ed Mayes, one mile west of Hopewell church. Several members of the Meyers family had the mumps. A severe blizzard swept the county. Finley Stoner died and was buried in the Bennet cemetery. Otoe County led all counties in Nebraska in the production of red clover in 1922.
