Congratulations to Mike Lucas, son of Marvin & Jean, who was elected President of the Council for Northwest Historical Archeology. Always have admired this young man and his accomplishments.
Our grandson Brody got confirmed this past Sunday, along with 14 others at Luther Memorial: Kelsay Engelbrecht, Braxton Kelch, Oliver McIntosh, Kylie Gaston, Ryan Kirchhoff, Luke Royal, Tripp Hestermann, Kaita Kreifels, Sidney Schubarth, Wyatt Higgins, Luke Kuenning, William Simon, Mason Lintz, and Aubree Tuxhorn. What a great ceremony that involved all the family and friends of each child. Our daughter Michele was his sponsor.

Mildred (Cox) Farnsworth, wife of S.G. Farnsworth, died in Burlington, Colorado. "The old time basketball players of our village met the high school five on the town hall battle ground Wednesday evening and gave the youngsters a real practice. The former all-stars discovered that they had not lost very much of their pep, as they won with a score of 37 - 2."
