On Saturday, November 25, we received our first snow of the season - 2 inches. Just enough to make everything look wonderful. Thanks to Bob Brandt for the photo.
Remember to fly a flag on December 7th, to honor the 2000+ sailors and soldiers who lost their lives when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor.
Continued get well wishes to everyone...seems like we're starting early this year.
The water pit north of town has been replaced and is quite an improvement.

Friday, 11-30-1923, The Otoe Union:
"Marion and Elma Carter spent Thanksgiving day with their parents at the Methodist manse." Corn husking was finally over. Richard Massie, youngest son of Henry Massie, and brother of William H. Massie, killed in WWI, died in California. Harry Chesley broke his arm while cranking his car and it back-fired. Ed Stanley, serving as Village Marshall, earned $10.00/month.
